Photo of the day for March 9th, 2011 - Dom from the Carolina Chocolate Drops - with banjo
This photo was from a little impromptu photo shoot I did the first time I met Dom (from The Carolina Chocolate Drops) a couple years ago. I’ve always loved the expression on his face in this shot - and how the grain structure works so well with the texture of the wall behind him.
Little did I know that 2 years after I snapped this, The Carolina Chocolate Drops would be accepting their first Grammy - congrats guys!
Shot on Fuji Neopan 400, rated at 800ISO - developed in Diafine.

If you are interested in a shoot with your children, family, significant other , or whoever else, send me an email and we’ll chat!
